Album #215 – Sticky Fingers

Album #215

This is my favorite Rolling Stones album. I like it better than any of their other albums. It has a nice bluesy and and laid back kind of feel. This album is rooted in American music. The Stones continue to build on the albums Let It Bleed and Beggar’s Banquet. They would continue to explore this side of their music on Exile on Main Street. But, unlike that album, this one was not too long. If anything, it was too short and it seemed to fly by. This album to me shows the Stones at their creative peak. After Exile on Main Street, they would start to slide and they have not really recovered. The four albums seem to capture just how talented the Stones were. I do not have much else to say about this album other than it made me an even bigger Rolling Stones fan and changed my perception of this group. Overall, I give this album 5 out of 5.

Next: Imagine by John Lennon
